Use Admin to sync menu with Uber Eats

Precautions

  1. Uber Eats menu is integrated with the QUEUE system. In order to complete the integration, you must set up your menu from Queue webadmin or APP and upload it to Uber Eats, this means once you sync menu from our platform we will overwrite your Uber Eats menu according to the changes you have made in Queue.

  2. The menu items must be uploaded to the Uber Eats from the QUEUE system. If the menu set up cannot be identified by syncing the menu to the Uber Eats platform, it will result in incomplete reception of the item information and you’ll see an error message when you try to sync menu from Queue platform.

  3. Uber Eats has not opened the third-party system to use some functions, so if there are requirements such as "discount event", you still have to operate the function on the Uber Eats tablet!

Service Description

  1. "QUEUE integrated service-Uber Eats" (hereinafter referred to as the service) is only available to the contracted users of Cooley Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the company). The company reserves all modifications, terminations and changes to the service application and details right.
  2. The company will charge a service fee of NT$2000 per service for the first-time online integration of the Uber Eats delivery platform for the stores that import this service.
  3. After the store has launched the service, if you need to entrust QUEUE to update the menu items, prices and other information on the Uber Eats delivery platform, you will be charged a service fee of NT$200 each time (within 10 items changed), for every additional 10 items Need to increase the service fee of NT$200.
  4. After you submit the application form, the company will arrange the related operations for the connection (the whole process takes about 7-21 working days). After the connection is completed, the company will notify the online integration time by official Line. Please wait patiently.
  5. In order to ensure the integrity of the Uber Eats delivery platform menu, the menu items must be created by the QUEUE system background webpage or APP and uploaded to Uber Eats.
  6. Due to the abnormality of the Uber Eats system, the service cannot receive the order information correctly. The company will provide a certificate of the abnormality of the Uber Eats system. If the abnormality of the Uber Eats system causes the store’s business troubles, please ask the Uber Eats customer service. This service does not need to bear any responsibility.
  7. Due to the undeveloped integration functions of the Uber Eats system, the company will not have the right to perform functional integration. The company can only do system integration for the integrated functions that Uber Eats has opened. If users have needs, please apply for the feature from Uber Eats.

Charging description

  1. The integration service fee is: NT$200 per month.
  2. The service will charge a first-time online integration of the Uber Eats delivery platform service fee of NT$2,000.
  3. The billing cycle of this service will be the same as the POS membership contract, and the prepaid fees cannot be refunded.
  4. The company will start the online integration work after receiving the payment. Please transfer the payment within 7 days after application.
  5. If this service has accepted the online integration, the store has not completed the payment within 7 days of the online service, the company will charge NT$2,000 for the delay payment.

Login to QUEUE Admin

1-1 Enable items for Uber Eats

Choose EXTERNAL and Click in Menu Items on the side bar.

Check the boxes of the products, variants and prices in each category you want to enable for Uber Eats.

You can enable all the items related to a category by clicking all Uber Eats on the top of each category group.

note

If you would like items that are only available to combo menus, please enable those items here.

tip

If you want your product, variant names, description or prices to be different from the POS, please follow the next step. If it is the same as you want to show in Uber Eats, please jump to step 2-1

1-2 Choose External Platform category, products or variants which you want to show different name or prices from your POS

Edit category: Choose Menu > Products on the side bar and select the category that you want to edit, and click specifically in the pencil icon with the category name.

Edit product: Choose Menu > Products on the side bar, select the product under the category that you want to edit, and click specifically in the pencil icon with the product name.

Edit variant: Choose Menu > Products on the side bar, select the variant under the product that you want to edit, and click specifically on the price it is showing.

1-3 Modify External Platform name and prices.

On the right side of the screen you can see the Uber Eats.

note

If you already enable the item from the EXTERNAL menu items (step 1-1), it will show enabled here as well, because both check boxes are synchronised.

If you want to show a different name, description or price from the one you have in your POS, you can override an English or Chinese item name/description/prices on the right side of the screen.

note

If you want to override a price, it only can do in edit variant interface. If you want to show a different name or description, must have to override Chinese and English.

You can upload a picture by enable “Custom Image” and click on “Drag and drop image here, or click to select image to upload one.

Please don’t forget to press SAVE to save changes.

1-4 Confirm the enable items for Uber Eats have been selected again

Choose EXTERNAL and Click in Menu Items on the side bar.

Check the boxes of the products, variants and prices in each category you want to enable for Uber Eats.

After you finish checking the boxes, press SAVE.

2-1 Enable product options for Uber Eats.

In case you want to use/enable Product Options in external platforms, Choose EXTERNAL and Click in Product Options on the side bar.

Check the boxes of the product options you want to enable for Uber Eats, and don't forget to enable the check box of Uber Eats on the top of each product option group.

After you finish checking the boxes, press SAVE.

3-1 Connect your Uber Eats Store with your Queue account.

note

This action is only required for the first integration of a new brand. If the account has already been linked, please jump to step 4-1.

Choose EXTERNAL and Click in Uber Eats on the side bar.

Click on Connect New Uber Eats Stores , you will be redirected to Uber Eats website, please login to your Uber Eats account in order to start your integration process.

After you login, you'll see a list of your store, please click on Connect to start the integration.

If there is no response when linking your Uber Eats account, please log out of the Uber Eats account you have already logged in to, or use an incognito window for this step.

3-2 Check the integration between your Uber Store and Queue

After you have successfully added your Uber Eats brand information, you’ll be able to see your Store Name and the total number of categories you’ve enabled on the Uber Eats platform.

If you want to modify your external menu, please jump to Step 1-1 ~ 2-1.

If you want to edit your brand information, please follow the next step.

4-1 Create or edit the brand name of your store

Choose EXTERNAL and Click in the Brand menu on the side bar.

Click + Brand menus to create a new brand or directly click in the brand which you want to edit.

  1. Writing the name of your brand (If you are creating a new brand)
  2. Check the boxes of the categories you want to upload to this brand on Uber Eats.
note

If the items from a category are only available to combo menus, please do not enable that category here.

  1. Write down the brand’s open hours on Uber Eats.
note

In case you don’t open during specific days, please set up the specific changes from the Uber Eats tablet.

  1. Choose Uber Eats Remote Brand and select a brand that you want to connect with.
note

Only after the authorization integration is successful, this interface will have integrated brands to select and connect.

  1. After you finish, don’t forget to press SAVE.

5-1 Sync menu with Uber Eats

Choose EXTERNAL and Click in the Uber Eats on the side bar.

Choose the brand that you want to synchronize and press Sync Menu, the data will be uploaded to Uber Eats.

note

If you would like to see how your menu looks on Uber Eats platform, make sure Uber Eats is Go offline from Queue app order interface before you press Sync Menu.

5-2 Confirmation Store menu

After pressing Sync Menu , the brand profile will show the last updated time, please check on it.

If the Last Updated Time is not correct, it means upload has failed. Please contact our Customer Support for assistance.

6-1 How to stop the integration

This step of stop the integration is only used when the Uber Eats account is no longer used. Be sure to contact our customer service team before canceling the Uber Eats integration and starting the steps below.

Choose EXTERNAL and Click in Uber Eats on the side bar.

Click on Connect New Uber Eats Stores , you will be redirected to Uber Eats website, please login to your Uber Eats account in order to stop your integration process.

After you login, you'll see a list of your store, please click on Disconnect to stop the integration.
